COI/IRB Reviews and Approvals

Compliance and safety reviews must be undertaken, as applicable, before accepting research funding and commencing the research project.

Financial disclosure for potential conflict of interest

• Faculty members must submit financial disclosure form(s) at the time of proposal submission for research funding, when research gift funding is received, and when an application for protocol is submitted for a clinical study. 

Institutional Review Boards (IRB): Human participants and Animal subjects.

• Research protocols must be reviewed and approved if the research involves human participants or animal subjects.

Bio-safety Technical Committees Review

• Research protocols are subject to review by bio-safety technical committees if research involves the use of: biological materials, hazardous and toxic materials, radiation, and radiological materials.
